ADHD Assessment Ireland is a professional diagnostic service specialising in comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults, children and adolescents. Our evidence-based approach uses a multidisciplinary process to ensure accurate diagnosis and clear, personalised treatment recommendations.

 

Elaine Kelly is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health Nursing with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has spent the last 16 years specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, focusing exclusively on assessing and diagnosing ADHD for the past 10 years, ensuring expert evaluation for your loved ones.

 

She is dedicated to supporting young people, their families and adults through mental health challenges. 

 

She holds a BSc in Psychiatric Nursing and an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice and Nurse Prescribing.

 

She has a particular expertise in ADHD, having developed and operated ADHD-specific services within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services throughout Ireland. Elaine currently works within a multidisciplinary team, leading ADHD assessment and medication treatment clinics. She has also developed ADHD parenting programmes and facilitates these programmes regularly.

 

In her current role, she assists children and adolescents in navigating mental health distress, covering a wide range of issues. Elaine’s holistic and co-productive approach aims to support individuals and help them thrive within their neurodiversity, enhancing social, familial, and educational abilities through tailored support and coaching for young people, their parents, and adults presenting with symptoms of ADHD.

 

Denise Kelly is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in ADHD and Mood Disorders. She has 23 years of experience working with adults and families experiencing mental health issues. Her experience allows her to support people with ADHD by helping them understand their unique brains and the steps they can take to enrich their lives.0

 

Denise holds a BSc in Psychiatric Nursing, Certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, MSc in Mental Health Nursing Practice, Certificate in Nurse Prescribing and a PGDip in Advanced Nursing Practice specialising in Adults with ADHD and Mood Disorder.

 

Denise works empathetically and holistically, supporting the person experiencing mental health issues and their families, aiming to deliver personalised care throughout the assessment process.

 

As mothers, Elaine and Denise understand the complexities of home life and family interactions. This personal experience, combined with their professional expertise, helps them interpret your family's unique situation and provide a personalised, supportive service at every stage of the ADHD assessment process.
