About Us

This is an ADHD diagnostic service that offers a comprehensive evaluation process designed to determine whether an individual meets the criteria for ADHD. This service involves a multidisciplinary approach to gather and analyse information from various sources, ensuring an accurate diagnosis and the development of an effective treatment plan. I offer assessment to children, adolescents and adults.

 

Elaine Kelly is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health Nursing. She has over 20 years nursing experience, working with children, adolescents, adults and families. The last 16 years working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, specialising solely in assessing and diagnosing ADHD for the past 10 years.

 

She is dedicated to supporting young people, their families and adults through mental health challenges. 

 

She holds a BSc in Psychiatric Nursing, a MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice and Nurse Prescribing.

 

She has a particular expertise in ADHD, having developed and operated ADHD-specific services within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services throughout Ireland. Elaine currently works within a multidisciplinary team to lead ADHD assessment and medication treatment clinics. She has also developed ADHD parenting programmes and facilitates these programmes regularly.

 

In her current role, she assists children and adolescents in navigating mental health distress, covering a wide range of mental health issues. Elaine’s approach is holistic and co-productive, aiming to support people and help them thrive within their neurodiversity – enhancing their social, familial, and educational abilities through tailored support and coaching for young people, their parents and adults presenting with symptoms of ADHD.

 

Denise Kelly is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in ADHD and Mood Disorders. She has 23 years of experience working with adults and families experiencing mental health issues. Her experience allows her to support people with ADHD by helping them to understand their unique brain and the steps they can take to enrich their life.

 

Denise holds a BSc in Psychiatric Nursing, Certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, MSc in Mental Health Nursing Practice, Certificate in Nurse Prescribing and a PGDip in Advanced Nursing Practice specialising in Adults with ADHD and Mood Disorder.

 

Denise works in an empathetic, holistic manner supporting the person experiencing mental health issues and their families with the aim of delivering personalised care throughout the assessment process.

 

As mothers, Elaine and Denise understand the intricacies of home life and the interactions that can occur between family members. This life experience coupled with their professional expertise allows them to understand and interpret all information received. This ensures that you receive a personalised service at every stage of the ADHD Assessment process.
